TaxWapaS is a private tax consultancy service founded and operated by Zaid Bin Mansoor. We provide assisted Income Tax Return (ITR) filing services to individuals across India. We are not affiliated with the Income Tax Department of India or any government body.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect from you, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data — in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.

• Identity information: Full name, PAN number, Aadhaar number
• Contact information: Mobile number, email address
• Financial information: Form 16, AIS/TIS reports, bank statements, capital gains statements, salary slips, and other tax-related documents
• Portal credentials: Income Tax e-Filing portal login credentials (used solely for filing your return)
• Payment information: UPI/payment reference numbers (we do not store card details)

We collect this information only when you voluntarily provide it to us through WhatsApp, email, or our website contact form.

Your information is used exclusively for the following purposes:

• Preparing and filing your Income Tax Return on the official portal
• Communicating with you about your filing status, queries, and confirmations
• Sending filing acknowledgements and post-filing support
• Complying with applicable legal and regulatory requirements

We do not use your data for marketing, advertising, or any purpose beyond your ITR filing.

🔒 How We Protect Your Data

We take the security of your financial data seriously:

• Documents are stored on a private, access-controlled server — not on public cloud services
• Access to your data is restricted to your assigned tax expert only
• We do not share, sell, or transfer your data to any third party under any circumstances
• Portal credentials are used only at the time of filing and are not stored in plain text
• All internal communication about your case is confidential

🤝 Data Sharing

We do not share your personal or financial data with any third party, advertiser, or external organisation — except in the following limited situations:

• Legal obligation: If required by a court order, government authority, or applicable law
• Your explicit consent: Only if you specifically request us to share information with another party

Your PAN credentials and documents are used solely to file your return on the official Income Tax portal.

🗑️ Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your documents and information for the duration of your engagement with us and for a reasonable period after for post-filing support.

• You can request deletion of your documents at any time by contacting us
• Upon receiving a deletion request, we will remove your documents from our servers within 7 business days
• Some basic information (name, PAN, filing year) may be retained for our internal records as required for compliance purposes

• Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correction: Ask us to correct any inaccurate information
• Deletion: Request deletion of your documents and data
